How to create teams to track spending by departments

You can create teams to group employees and track spending by department, location, or project. This makes it easier to monitor budgets, allocate resources effectively, and gain clearer insights into organizational spend.

To create a a Team:

1. Log in to the platform using your admin account.

2. From the main navigation, click on the Company tab.

3. In the drop-down menu, select Teams

4. On the Teams page, click the green + New Team button in the upper right corner.

5. In the form that appears:

- Enter a Team Name (e.g., “Marketing” or “Site Crew A”)

- Add a Description (optional, but helpful for context)

- Select the Members who should be part of this team

6. Click Save to create the team.

You can always return to the Teams tab to edit team details or manage members.
